Whack a Smitty - Script

Below is a script for a comical commercial short that features Cody as Smitty Johnson in a viral new product called "Whack a Smitty" and features a small role from everyone. This video will be releasing next Monday hopefully as we are waiting another week or two to release episode 17 since Nick is too busy to film currently. Everyone's parts aside from myself and Cody are very small and only considered as cameos. If possible, I would appreciate all of these parts by this Sunday night since they are very minor. I estimate this short to be around 2 minutes long (similar to the Quick Revive Tablet commercial) So read the script and if you have any suggestions, please say so and tell me what you think! I plan to film my parts (Cody's were already filmed) sometime later this week.

Whack A Smitty - Script

CA: Dr. Truscot is shown appearing in front of his house.

Dr. Truscot: Do you ever feel stressed, depressed or sad? Or how about lazy, mad or glad? Well, I have the perfect product for you!

CA: Swaps locations.

Dr. Truscot: It's called "Whack a Smitty!" It has been rated the best video game in the world by Dr. Dontrust and we take that to heart here at League Productions!

CA: Dr. Dontrust is shown.

Dr. Dontrust: (spoken as if he is forced to) It is the best video game in the world.

CA: Dr. Truscot walks along a hallway.

Dr. Truscot: This game is guaranteed to relieve all of your stressful, depressive and saddest of moods! So, any volunteers?

CA: Harvy walks onto the screen.

Harvy: Well I'm stressed, depressed and sad. So can I have a try?

CA: Dr. Truscot stares at Harvy who smiles and waves.

CA: Dr. Truscot is shown sitting down.

Dr. Truscot: Whack a Smitty is in the lead of virtual video games of today's modern technology and can be played anywhere.

CA: Smitty is shown under water.

Dr. Truscot: At a pool.

CA: Smitty is shown smiling at the camera.

Dr. Truscot: At home!

CA: Smitty is shown smiling outside.

Dr. Truscot: Even outside!

CA: Swaps places.

Dr. Truscot: (Spoken as a narrator while you see Dr. Truscot do the following) It will certainly get you motivated enough to want to get off of your duff to grab a ball and throw it at none other than our very own Receptionist Smitty Johnson!

CA: Smitty is shown filing paper work and holding Marsha on top of his head.

Dr. Truscot: The point to this viral new product is to pick up any ordinary ball 'which come in three different sizes shown here' (Smitty is shown being hit with three different sized balls) and throw them at Smitty in numerous ways until he just can't take it anymore!

CA: Smitty is shown being hit in numerous ways quickly.

Dr. Truscot: Can't you see how much happier I am after whacking a Smitty!

Smitty: Can we talk about this?

CA: A ball whacks him in the gut and sends him flying backwards.

CA: Swaps places.

Dr. Truscot: Now here is a message from some of our valued customers.

CA: Dr. Dontrust is shown.

Dr. Dontrust: What was my line again? (walks off screen)

CA: Dr. Mister is shown.

Dr. Mister: I don't know about you, but every night I play "Whack a Smitty" and it certainly gets my stress level down after working with Professor Sausage all day!

CA: Same shot! Professor Sausage is shown walking onto the screen behind Dr. Mister. A ball flies onto the screen from the right and whacks Professor Sausage to the ground as Dr. Mister turns around to see.

CA: Banks is shown.

Banks: So far, Whack a Smitty has only made me more depressed.

CA: Doctor V is shown fooling around with his false teeth.

CA: Harvy is shown.

Harvy: I still haven't tried it yet. (pauses) Sounds like fun though.

CA: Dr. Truscot is shown.

Dr. Truscot: Order now by calling this number! (spreads out arms while 721-Falsenumber is shown on the screen) Or order your valued product at www.Whackasmitty.edu/nonexistent!

CA: Harvy runs onto the screen laughing and grabs a ball.

Dr. Truscot: Hey, come back here with that!

CA: Dr. Truscot is shown chasing Harvy in the top right corner while information appears on the left.

CA: Harvy and Dr. Truscot are still chasing one another in the background until Dr. Truscot trips and rolls down a hill.

Narrator: If you order in the next 22 seconds, not only will you get Whack a Smitty video game, but you will also get this red ring infected Xbox 360 that is beyond repair and a complementary kitty cat who eats like a piranha.

CA: Harvy runs onto the screen and sees Smitty. He aims the ball.

CA: Smitty gets whacked again and falls to the ground.

CA: Smitty is shown beaten up on the ground.

Smitty: I love Whack a Smitty! (faints)

CA: Smitty is shown holding a ball and giving a thumbs up. Below the phone number and website are shown.

That's AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see it!

Aside from C.J's and Jake's parts, it is all done editing wise! Took four days due to editing each individual scene! XD

So C.J, you feel well enough to film today? If not, then just tell me when you can. If you can today though, I will go make sure Jake has the file for me today too.

I think my voice is now close enough to normal to film, but unfortunately my parents are both away for the day and we don't have anyone to throw something at Micah. I will try to film as soon as possible though.

Yeah, that part is kind of imperative for this short. Haha, just do it tomorrow I guess.

I might be able to do it today if my parents get back before dark. Otherwise I will do it over the weekend.

All right, sounds fine. I am going to try and see if Jake can do his part today so that I can edit it in ahead of time so that way I can upload it as soon as you film.

He does them rather quickly Cody. He makes logos for our videos as well. haha
