I think it definitely involves computers and the internet. Computers have improved A LOT recently.

I gave my answer already. iPod's, iPhones and iPads.

Solar powered cars do exist, but only in the prototype stage or custom built. They drive similar to gas powered cars, you just need it to be a sunny day or have batteries to store charge.
