iTunes Question
I haven't moved my iPod to my new PC yet and haven't because I have been scared I would lose my files. I know sometimes that happens, but I was wondering if there is a simple way to transfer the files without using the home option from PC to PC since my older PC that I used is no longer usable. I have since bought stuff through my iTunes store on my iPod Touch itself. But I want to update it to the fourth gen since it is still 3rd gen.
My main question is there a way to transfer all my files on my iPod that I have bought since I last updated over a year and half ago and get all my older files including my 60+ apps. (I have 64G BTW which is how I have so many files) I won't do it if I have a chance at losing files aside from apps considering I can re-download them. I have at least 2K songs, 60 apps, 1 movie (HP6 however I want to add Iron Man 2), all the Robot Chicken Star Wars (all three) and some music videos (like 10). So when it says "Transfer all" should I do it? I believe it means everything, but IDK if it transfers movies, apps and videos.

Re: iTunes Question
I don't have an iPod or iTunes so I have no clue. If nobody else here knows then I recommend looking it up on Google. Just search for "how to transfer iPod music" or something similar.

Re: iTunes Question
I did and got the answer I expected which means losing some files. However, I dug out my old XP and am trying to work with it now.

Re: iTunes Question
And THAT is why I don't have an iPod. Well, that and I already have a good mp3 player.

Re: iTunes Question
No, it would have worked if I chose to transfer. That is no reason not to have one, in fact Apple products are very good. I only have a Microsoft because of program use. I simply would have lost my files because I no longer have that old account on my new pc. I do have it on my old one.

Re: iTunes Question
Why didn't you choose to transfer? Also, I didn't say Apple products were bad. They just have a lot of compatibility issues thanks to Apple's greed.

Re: iTunes Question
Search for a music transferring/recovery program, you may be able to find one for free that will allow you to take music/movies from an ipod and put it on your hard drive. If you had a Mac, I could give you a really good program that is 100% free...
