Play Minecraft with Xbox 360 Controller!!

If you have an Xbox 360 wired controller, you are able to play Minecraft using it on the PC! I am as of now and it works great so far! Just took a while to find a method that would work. However, this video explains what to do and download if you wish to play MC with the 360 Controller!

Note: One thing the video does not mention is that it doesn't say the controller has to be plugged in when doing this process and that for the controls to be as said, you need default Minecraft controls.

Buy a wired version then!! Only maybe $5-$20 at Gamestop depending on brand.

How much is minecraft? I've heard of it but never really took interest in it and never felt like looking for it on the internet?

Well apparently it's coming out for the Xbox this month. Assuming that the Xbox version has support for PC servers, I would recommend getting that.

It should be available for download. I'm not sure how many points it will cost, though. Supposedly it will come out within the next couple of weeks.

I heard 800-1200 was what they were deciding on.

I would have to give up another week of my allowence to buy it becuase im all out of points. I spent them all to but all the halo reach map packs, not anniversary though becuase i got them from the games

Or you can buy a wireless receiver for the pc, so you can use wireless controllers.

If you have a charge and play cable, you can set up your wireless controllers on a computer as well. You just have to plug them in once.

Thanks, I'll look into that. I thought only wired controllers would work with a PC.

Play and charge cords do not work on the pc to connect the wireless controller.

David is right sadly. They only are good to have for the system itself. They are only meant to be charging cables.

No, it actually works. Xbox controllers use a weird form of bluetooth that won't automatically show up on a list of devices. The charge and play cable is just a usb cable anyways. It DOES work, I have done it myself on multiple computers. You may need to download a driver for the controller, but once you do it'll work amazingly just like you're on your 360

True, but the PC version is much superior to the 360 version. So it would be cool to use an Xbox controller on the PC.
