Yay or Nay

This could be a fairly hard thing to install, but here's the idea:

There would be a thumbs up or thumbs down(Like the Youtube comments) where you can rate a thread. If you liked the thread, you give it a thumbs up. If not, a thumbs down. After a certain amount of Thumbs down(Let's say 7), the thread would drop down to the bottom of the page. After 10, the thread would lock automatically.

Thumbs Upping something would bump the thread to the top of the the list, and after 10 or more Thumbs ups, it would remain as the top thread until another thread arises to the top.

Not a fully developed idea, but I like it.

That is a cool idea except I do not think it should lock itself, I mean, what if you need or want to respond to it and there is no reason for it to be locked? Otherwise that is a cool idea and I think 5 is better than 7. LOL

I used 7 as an example. And there's only 11 or 12 active members on CBGamez so a -10 is like saying nobody likes it.

As I said, I like the idea, but I don't think the locking is needed and that should be left up to Mods IMO. I think Eagle will like the idea too, but as you said it will take time to set it up. He will be back tomorrow so we can see what he thinks then.

Aye. And Arch, you could only thumbs something once, not reapeatledly. And Flare, the locking would be like, "No mods around, this thread is spam....Most of CBGamez no like, -lock-"

i was the first to vote "no" because I don't like the idea. i'm not a follower sorry

I am not either and that should be known already due to my past on here, but still, I think it is a good idea, I am not 100% on the locking part however but the rest I like.

is there something i missed? what are we rating?

i did. im not completely sure what we are voting on here. could you explain it cuz i was lost at the first post. i read all of them though.

The point is, someone can vote on a thread and if it gets to low, it will eventually lock itself.

It is a suggestion and if it happens. Eagle will make it like this, it hasn't happened yet.

because they are usually right. did you vote yes on this? you did notice that lately i have been complaining about things being off topic and needed locking, im not just agreeing cuz its liz.

A lot of things need locking/deleting and I was the first along with Ryan to say this. Yes I voted Yes, why wouldn't I?
