Moderators

The Moderator Code:

1. Moderators will NEVER edit or delete others' posts unless the person in question has broken a rule of the forums. Moderators that ignore this rule will be BANNED.

2. When editing a rule breaker's post, moderators will ONLY remove or replace the area of the post that has violated a rule of the forums. Moderators will never change rule abiding parts of a message.

3. Moderators will NEVER delete a post without first consulting a SE Administrator. The only exception to this is when someone has double posted and edited one of the two messages to say "Double Post". Then a moderator may delete the post that reads "Double Post".

4. Moderators follow all rules of the forums, show respect to other users, and post supportive and creative messages.

5. When unsure of whether a user has broken a rule or what do when a rule has been violated, a moderator will PM a SE Administrator notifying him/her of the topic and post in question.

If a moderator chooses to accept this code and become a moderator, he/she will be assigned to one category of the forums to moderate. If he/she proves to be an excellent moderator, he/she may be assigned to more categories in the future.

Moderator powers include the following:

The ability to edit posts by other users.
The ability to delete posts by other users.
The ability to move topics (threads).
The ability to post Stickies and Announcements (please use Announcements for only important posts such as Forum Rules.)

You guys, this thread isn't for moderator recruitment. I just decided to make the moderator code public so that mods don't seem like monsters in the shadows about to leap on you. Okay, maybe that's exaggerating a little but the point is so that you can know what to expect from mods.

To become a moderator you need to be active, mature, respectful, and follow ALL the rules (which includes no spamming >_>).
