The King or the Horse?!

Now, Whats the difference between a King and His horse?! And I am not talking about obvious stuff. Like, one is an animal and one is a human. Or one has four legs and one has two legs.
FORM OF ABILITY AND POWER! That's what makes it puzzling! If their Form of ability and power are exactly the same, why is it that one becomes the king, and leaves them into battle, while the other becomes the horse and carries the king?!?
So what is the characteristic that distinguish these two beings?!?
There's only one answer: INSTINCT!
In order for identical beings to get stronger and gain power, They need to develop a killer instinct! And that instinct is mostly forged in Battle!
They must develop a sensational hunger to engage in battle!
They must live in order to mercifully crush, slice, and shred our enemies.
This thirst for power is not an unnatural desire.
In fact, this forms the very essence of our beings, deep inside our bodies. The instinct to Dominate and Slaughter our enemies!

I have to disagree with this. We haven't gotten where we are today by fighting. War just tears things apart and causes destruction. Real progress is made when humans can work together to study the world around us and discover how to use things to our advantage.
For instance, your example of a king and his horse. The king didn't get his horse by slaying it in battle. The horse had to be trained, and humans used techniques they had learned and practiced to accomplish this.
If two men met on a road, would they achieve more by fighting and one of them killing the other, or by working together to build a shelter and find food? If they fought, what would the survivor have at the end of the day? A bloody body. If they worked together they could have shelter, food, equipment, or whatever they worked for.
