PETITION - To release Justin Carter from prison
A 19 year old named Justin Carter has been in prison since February for making a careless joke on League of Legends that authorities literally took to far and jumped to such a harsh solution.
A player on League of Legends said that he was crazy and sick in the head, and Carter responds that he's sick in the head alright that he'll shoot up a school full of small kids and eat their still beating hearts, followed by a comment " lol " and " jk ".
Apparently the Texas government traced this comment and is charging Justin for a terroristic threat that will lead up to 8 years in prison.

Well, now I know what state I am not ever going to visit.

I believe he shouldn't have said that, however I do agree that it isn't something worth getting arrested over. That is just sad...

I signed. The government is getting carried away. Instead of using common sense and working for justice it's acting like a kid trying to get what it wants by "technically following the rules."
What happened to "innocent until proven guilty?"

I was always tired of hearing this, but I was always told that US Veterans died for our freedom at war.
Well, where is that freedom now?
If I was in Justin Carter's shoes, I would beg to my kness to move out of state.

I just went to AOL to check my e-mails and saw this article regarding this situation. This article just makes matters worse. I would say further, but then probably would be risking jail time just for making a harmless comment...

Wow, that's just horrible. I really want to smack the person who decided to put him in jail...
