Long lost days of Minecraft

Cj is there anyway you could get one of our old Minecraft servers up? I haven't really played minecraft since you took it down, which it feels like it was years ago.....

The computer he brought home to FL so that he could set up the old server has sinced stopped working... Meanwhile he is in PA for the remainder of his vacation, so sadly I tend to doubt we will be seeing the older server anytime soon. :/

I agree, I miss the good old days of Skype and Minecraft.

I think at this point time, that is all it will ever be. :/

This thread has inspired me to make another attempt at getting the server back up!

Don't count on success though, I've already tried earlier during this Christmas break. The new computer I got simply won't boot up.

It would be really cool to see the server again. Also to play the HG servers again.

I never stopped playing the hunger games servers, i made it to third place a few times, once was 2nd. the rest was during the blood bath deaths where i wanted to see how it would end up. It would be nice to see all the houses again though.

Ah, time to rejoice! We have the weekly clan events once more along with a new Minecraft server! Nostalgia.

About that, I haven't decided whether to make it a PVP or build server. I'd like to get the opinions of players who really wanted the server back. So I'll make a decision based off what you and Jay think is best. Keep in mind that I'm not planning to add any fancy plugins/mods this time, just the basic teleports and a couple administration features (maybe a censor) if anything.

Okay. Well I think we really should have it be a build server, I personally enjoy those a lot more than PvP.

I won't probably enjoy playing it unless it is just a build server. I miss the normality of Minecraft and don't want all of those extra features anymore aside from teleporting. If it becomes a PVP, I will still play it, but not nearly as much most likely. :/

Sounds like most players want it to be a build server. I'll set it up as a build server with the exception of special events (where a server backup will be made and reverted to after the event).
