Halo 4 - Halo Games Map Making Contest

Starting November 6th 2012, you will have the chance to make the best Halo Games map to your ability (using Halo 4) for use in a Season 3 episode! You will need to make a map (of any size) for use of up to 16 people and a cornucopia filled with weapons! December 7th 2012--myself, C.J. and Nick will judge all of the entry maps and choose the top 3 of our choice. Entry Deadline is December 1st 2012 at 11:59 PM. I will edit this post with registered users below! If you are not on the list and registered, either I have not seen it yet or you registered incorrectly.

1st Place Winner - The winners map will be used in The Halo Games Episode 13 with full credit to the creator(s). The winner(s) can make a small guest appearance as a Commentator(s) in Episode 13!
2nd Place Winner - Makes a small guest appearance in Episode 13!
3rd Place Winner - You or your team can decide what our next Clan event will be after being approved by the judges!

Note: To be eligible to make a guest appearance in Episode 13, you must have a Skype account and a headset/mic to work with. If you have only one or neither of the above and do win 1st or 2nd place, contact me over a PM using these forums to discuss another solution.

How To Enter:

First thing you must do is post on this thread saying your name and username by November 30th 2012. If you are on a team, you still have to submit your name and username on this thread yourself to qualify. Another teammate cannot enter for you. Note: If you fail to do this and are on a team with a member or two who did submit their name, your team's map will be disqualified. After completing your map, you will need to contact myself through a PM on the forums stating your maps name and also putting it on your file share. If you worked on the map as a team of two or three (three people at max) then the leader of the team (you decide who the leader is) will be submitting everyone's name to me on the PM as well as the maps name. You must title your PM as "Halo Games Map Contest" to qualify when sending the PM to me.

Rules and Regulations:

1: If any of the judges learn that the map was copied/stolen from another user you would be banned from the clan and or suspended from use of the forums depending.
2: Maps must be built using Halo 4 Forge Engine.
3: If there is any disputes/arguments over map creation (depending on severity) on the forums, you are liable of a suspension of forums use.
4: All maps must include 16 spawns (at minimum) and a cornucopia filled with weapons.
5: You are allowed to have up to three teammates (which would include yourself) if you wish to. However you can only participate once, if you are on a team you can't individually compete. To enter as a team, you still all have to post on this thread individually to qualify.
6: No late entry's allowed. Deadline is December 1st 2012 at 11:59 PM.
7: You MUST name your PM (when submitting your map) as "Halo Games Map Contest" to qualify. Otherwise we will not judge your (or your teams) map.

Yes, I would just need to know who helpd you made it. I should have explained that. In fact, I will add that into the rules now.

UPDATE:

I made it so that a team of three (which would include yourself) can participate together. However the ruling is that you can only participate once. Either a team or individually. Doesn't matter to me how many takes/tries it takes to complete it as long as it is received by December 1st. In fact you can show anyone (preferably anyone you trust) the map except for judges. Just only three (at max) can work on it.

Jacob. TerseRat, what if we won't receive Halo 4 till December, is it at all possible to extend the end date a couple or more days? maybe like December 7th at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time?

No, I am sorry Jacob. If you got it December 1st, you could build it technically that same day and submit it that night by 11:59, but I am not going to switch it as of now. If you managed to get it on the 6th, you have nearly a month to work on it.

I'm doing as best I can to have my mom just pre-order it and give it to me right after thanksgiving. So I'm hoping for the best, No Black Ops until Christmas most likely.
