Nerd Insults

On another note, Jay is a clan member who has betrayed us all by moving over to PS3. Time to devise a killing spree...

Fair enough, but to me aside from the PS3's build which I actually think is very nicely done -- the singled out PS3 games on the system aren't overall great and the Online capacity is lacking in support while the dashboard set up is very basic such as the Wii's dashboard.

I always have considered Xbox 360 to have better internet capacity and game selections. Every really good game on PS3 is available on Xbox 360 as well aside from perhaps the Uncharted series depending on people's opinions of the series. And to end my opinion of the PS3, the only people I know who own one also own a 360 and literally only Jay that I know of uses a PS3 more than an Xbox.

Now that is my nerd debate/insult towards the PS3.

I have to agree with Jon on this one. I know maybe two people with Blu-ray players. >_<

Mostly what we are saying is why get one unless there is some amazing special features on the Blu Ray that you have to see that isn't on a DVD or online. lol

I know lots of people with Blu-ray players who don't own a PS3. They're mostly older people who wouldn't want a game console. I still think you guys need to meet more people though.

Well, I don't tend to hang out with old people as much as people my own age... So that is simply why not many people I know own a Blu Ray WITHOUT owning a PS3.

Yeah, same here. I know most of the guys in my dorm building and none of them have Blu-ray players that I know of. It's because most of them either use Netflix or pirate movies/TV shows. >_< Also, we have free cable here. So nobody really has any reason to blow money on Blu-ray.

I think everyone knew that this thread would turn into a debate about some form of technology, given the title.
