e3 Video Game Coverage - Xbox 360
No word on any new consoles coming to the Microsoft franchise anytime soon. Yet why would they need a new system considering how well the current consoles are? I can't same the same for PS3 which appears to be leaning towards a PS4 reveal tonight. Either way, Halo 4 was the opening game highlighted and blew away my original (high anticipation) of the game. From what I saw it is the best of Halo 3 (gameplay, style, Master Chief and his story) and Reach (the newer additions, better map style, sprint/loadouts) with amazing graphics! An ancient evil is awakening and as expected, the Forerunners make their return for the worse and this time around, Cortana could very well be the most epic friend and enemy to the series. But this is only based on what I saw in the trailer. I will make sure to post the Halo 4 e3 2012 trailer below.

However after the amazing Halo 4 part of the event, I lost interest in the event greatly. Aside from Halo 4 (and Xbox Glass/plus internal features which I will get into in a second) it was an honest disappointment. There was Tomb Raider, Fable Journey, Resident Evil 6, Gears of War Judgment and many sport related games. However they all seemed either too unrealistic, hard or plain down stupid. Gears of War I would say was the best of those games, but looked no different than any other Gears released this far. Black Ops 2 was the only other game worth seeing and quite honestly was trying too hard to be 'epic' and felt over-killed. Nor was there any sign of Zombies returning, yet Zombies has been mentioned greatly prior to this event. Zombie mode (if happening) might be the (only) possible turning point in Black Ops 2 at this current time. It did however have wonderful graphics.
Now as I specified earlier, the only other thing that seemed amazing was Xbox Glass and internal features. Now don't get me wrong, all of the internal features are very basic. Mostly it is just adding the ability to add more apps for entertainment (like Nickelodeon, apparently an endless amount of sports and Xbox Music which is basically Microsoft's new iTunes etc) and some better/faster ways of improving Kinect navigation. Best way to describe it is a Siri for Xbox coming this fall. However Xbox Glass was amazing! It is basically a way of connecting any (yes, any) Smart Phone or tablet. This includes Apple's iPhone's and iPad's, Droids, Windows 7 phones and more. It will basically allow you new ways of navigation, notifications and elaborations on whatever you are watching (such as a map of where people are in a movie when watching a scene) or updates on games (such as Halo 4 as demonstrated with game invites, messages and so forth) and even can be used as a remote or air TV for your Smart Phone or tablet. Example: You can own a movie on your phone (not Xbox) and then continue watching it via your Xbox.
I don't know about you, but thought that was awesome and even more awesome considering it is universal between phones and tablets. One last thing to mention about Xbox Glass is that you can use your phone or tablet as a mouse. Now why would you need a mouse? Because they finally are adding in Internet Explorer. And you do not need a phone or tablet to navigate Internet explorer. You can use your controller, hand or voice. However with a phone or tablet you can pinch and zoom just like on a phone or tablet.
Conclusion: Xbox is now universal and there are no signs or reasons for another system any time soon. Xbox 360 is at the peak of its prime!

Yes, that is what I saw. I feel it was trying too hard to be 'epic' and notably wasn't any better (aside from graphics) than Black Ops 1 and I didn't have much of an opinion of the first aside from the awesome zombies mode.

Ah yes, I remember Nick. How is he doing?
As for the Black Ops 2 trailer, it seemed okay. I will probably get the game only if it has a zombies mode.
