I just don't see double posting as something to be a jerk about.. Not saying you meant it in a mean way, and I understand it's in the "rules".

Yeah, I get that. I think we can go about it in a more diplomatic way though. I know personally that when someone edits my post, it's like they steal a bit of my soul along with it.

SOP should be to warn someone, and then fix it yourself if they don't comply in reasonable time. Unless it's blatantly wrong of course. Like posting inappropriate things, spamming, or if they're a repeat offender.
