Yeah, probably an older hard drive. I can literally turn mine sideways while walking down stairs and it wont skip at all. I recently deleted about 45 gigs of crap off my hard drive, it sped up my computer significantly. The next thing I wanna do is double or quadruple the RAM. Now that would be legit haha

Yeah, the laptop is four years old now, however at least runs like new and looks like it is in mint condition. Just has an old hard drive. When I upgrade, I will probably go for another normal PC, but maybe I will actually do a Mac. I tend to doubt it since I can't afford it though. My laptop can last another year at least I'd bet now.

Well, how much can you afford? Honestly, I wouldn't spend less than a grand on a computer unless you build it yourself. Replacing one computer with another cheaper one is never a good idea. I'd keep what you have until you can afford something with a core i5 or i7. Those processors are freakishly fast.

When it comes to laptops I usually look at ones around $600-$800 with the best RAM/Memory (at the time depending) you can get from the product itself without upgrading it right away. I can't afford one right now and don't plan to buy another one for at least a year as mine is working again.

Yeah, like they say, if it's not broken don't fix it. I wouldn't settle for mediocre either, but you get the idea.

What I have right now wasn't mediocre of its time at release four years ago. But yeah, I know what you mean. I do know how to shop for computers though. Best time to buy them is during the Back to School season. haha Computers that are around a $1,000 can be up to like half off in most places during then. Depends on what brand, but you know what I mean. Online especially during that time... lol

Yeah, my two and a half year old Macbook is pretty much outdated too. Technology will never stop coming out with bigger (or smaller) and better things. A gift and a curse haha

Yeah, but I still appreciate out of date video games a lot. Phones and Computers get outdated easily though sadly. Usually fours years tops for those devices...

I love it. You can check out my website, I put lots of interesting or cool stuff I find on it. It's a lot of fun, but you gotta be careful too. It doesn't have a lot of restrictions on what people can post. Basically how it works is you look at a certain tag or subject, and it'll show you content about it that others have posted. I like to look through the technology, cars and food tags, I repost a lot of that stuff. I don't know, it's just fun haha

Yeah, you'll enjoy it. There's a ton of GIF pictures that people post too. Basically, you'll create an account, and then you can start looking at stuff right away or create a page to post/repost things you like
