got RROD :/

got everyone's worst nightmare. mom turned on the xbox to do a dvd and the on quarter lit up and it wouldn't start. we're shippping it out to the 'soft as we speak to get it fixed. wish me and my baby luck lol.

Wait, only one quarter of the ring lit up? That isn't necessarily red ring of death! That could just mean the cord is loose! Three rings is RROD usually Micah.

yes jon but we tried plugging them back in and it still wouldn't work and yes cj mom's going to ups now to ship

If Micah got one ring lit up, and has an error screen, then that is the RROD.

And it's actually 4 rings lighting up means that the cord is loose. One ring is the error screen.

That isn't the situation I meant, if you have RROD it would give you an error message, something like E37 or something. You didn't say there was an error message at all. And it isn't about unplugging and re plugging it, it is about making sure you keep it off for at least 10 minutes after doing so and then testing it again. If you ask me, it isn't RROD Micah, however it could be. But I had the same thing happen before with just 1 ring and mine didn't die.

And to clarify, 4 rings means most likely means the same thing, but 1 means it as well and I only know this because it has happened to me with just the 1 before. Not 4 rings, only 1 and I didn't get RROD then. So Micah could have it, but it doesn't mean he does either. IDK.

How is that an argument? O.o I agreed with you, only adding that I said that I have had the same thing happen to me with just 1 ring and it wasn't RROD, it was the cord was loose. The first paragraph was in regards to Micah's post, not yours David if that is how you got confused or something?

Let me step in and avoid that possible outcome David. Hey Micah ^_^ to get revenge on your xbox that betrayed you I suggest you destroy everything in Cj's room! Thats the only solution. But to be serious you already getting shipped off so its not worth talking about the error or whatever it was. Lets just hope it gets fixed ;D

It never was an argument though. O.O I agreed with him! Anyways, you are right to say that he already shipped it, so there is no purpose for us to do anything. Hope it gets fixed soon Micah! And have fun ruining C.J's abandoned room!

sorry ppl i should have clarified the e37 or w/e message did come up. and it didn't get shipped out because of some insurance thing for ups or w/e you had to pack it a certain way and we didn't lol....


anyway i am now filling cj's room with kerosene and now all i have to do is light a piece of wood that came in this cute little box.....
