Finding Marsha - Smitty's Greatest Adventure

This is going to be the special short film that takes place after five more episode of Dr. Truscot. Episode 20 will be releasing next Monday and then we will be on a weekly schedule (roughly releasing episodes on Monday's) and will continue to do so until this short, then back to weekly releases until the finale and the final special, The Life of Dr. Henry Truscot. The following series will begin mid January.

Here is the script! Cody, we will be filming this within the next few weeks hopefully. If you have any suggestions to make it better, let me know! We will be going to Concord the day we film in the afternoon to film the city and park scenes by the way. I will explain more on the day we film, depending when that is.

CA: He then grabs a bowl and cereal, pouring milk into it.

CA: Smitty is shown waking up next to Marsha, grabbing her and running out of the room.

Smitty: Morning Truscot!

Henry: Hey Smitty. (continues looking at his newspaper)

Smitty: I am so excited! Today, my cousin Jimmy comes over again!

CA: Henry puts down his newspaper.

Henry: Jimmy Johnson? He is visiting the office… again?

Smitty: (nods his head crazily) Uh huh! I can’t wait! (waves Marsha around) It will be like magic!

Note: The next few lines will be spoken by Smitty as a voice recording during the dream sequence.

Smitty: We’ll run around outside.

CA: They are shown running around in circles.

Smitty: We will play video games!

CA: Jimmy is shown sound asleep as Smitty beats him at Halo Reach, being overly happy.

Smitty: We will go hiking!

CA: Smitty is shown running up a hill in a forest, followed by Jimmy, walking very slowly, falling over eventually.

Smitty: We’ll play Whack a Smitty!

CA: Smitty is shown holding Marsha as a ball whacks the side of his head sending him flying.

CA: Jimmy is shown holding the ball and smiling.

Smitty: Oh, oh! We will even go on a double date with Marsha and Sasha!

CA: Smitty is shown holding Marsha and Jimmy is shown holding Sasha.

Smitty: Come on Marsha!

CA: Smitty runs off screen while Jimmy continues looking at Sasha, eventually dropping her, pulling out a rubber chicken and chewing it.

Note: The dream vision ends here.

CA: They are shown in the present once more.

Henry: Smitty, what is it with your cousin and rubber chickens?

Smitty: Rubber chickens? What do you mean? I’ve never seen him with a rubber chicken. I only saw him with Frank.

Henry: Smitty, he ate a rubber chicken right in front of me last time he was here and then, you joined him!

Smitty: Rubber chicken? Psh. Yeah right! I didn’t eat rubber Truscot, I chewed it raw silly, straight from the manufacture! It said it was made in China! China is such a cool place! And Frank was a nice chicken. Too bad he couldn’t speak. Born without a tongue Jimmy says. Can’t imagine what that would be like. Must be gooey and pink?

CA: Henry looks at Smitty and after a few seconds, folds up his newspaper, pushing his bowl of cereal away.

Henry: Thanks Smitty, now I have lost my appetite. (stands up) Have fun with your crazy cousin and your teddy bear! I will be in the bathroom, puking if you need me.

CA: Smitty watches as Henry walks away.

Smitty: Well, it is just you and me now (turns back to where Marsha was) Marsh…a?

CA: Camera shows where Marsha was shown.

CA: Smitty stands up.

Smitty: Marsha? Marsha! Where did you go?

CA: Smitty looks around the kitchen frantically.

CA: He is shown upstairs, pushing over books.

Smitty: Marsha?

CA: He pulls off a draw from a borough and puts his head inside it.

Smitty: Marsha?

CA: He goes inside a closet.

Smitty: Marsha!?

CA: He is shown looking under a desk.

Smitty: MARSHA? (he raises his head and hits the desk, clutching his head) Owww!

CA: He looks in a refrigerator.

Smitty: Marsha?

CA: He is shown opening a door to the bathroom.

Smitty: MARSHA?

CA: The room is shown with Henry sitting down, reading the paper.

Henry: Do you mind Smitty?

CA: Smitty shuts the door, without speaking.

CA: Jimmy is shown walking up the front steps, pulling out a rubber chicken, starting to smile and about to knock on the door.

CA: The door swings open as Jimmy gets pushed aside to the ground.

CA: Smitty storms out, running down the road.

CA: Jimmy is shown knocked out.

Jimmy: Owww…

CA: Smitty arrives in the field.

CA: A full 360 shot is shown, following Smitty as he looks for Marsha.

Smitty: Marsha! Marsha! MARSHA, WHERE ARE YOU?

CA: The 360 shot ends, with Smitty falling to his knees, crying, pulling up grass, following a scream to the sky.

CA: Smitty is shown sitting down at his desk, putting on his headset.

CA: A phone is shown ringing, followed by a hand picking it up.

CA: Dr. Dontrust is shown answering the phone.

Alfred: (spoken fastly) Dr. Truscot and Dontrust firm inquirer of the Health Chronicles incorporated CE personnel, Dr. Dontrust speaking. (spoken normally) Well, now that that is taken care of, how may I be of service to you sir or mam? Unless of course that this is George, in which case (snaps) I AM NOT speaking to him as of right now! (pauses) And if this is Karen, well, hi there! (smiles and fixes his hair)

Smitty: Alfred, I have bad news!

Alfred: DON’T CALL ME ALFRED! (spoken fastly) Why is it none of you imbeciles that I call my friends who also happen to be my co-workers understand that I don’t want to be called by my first name? Huh? Huh? Can’t anyone answer me this? (pauses) I am waiting for an answer Smitty! Where is my answer?

Smitty: (pauses) Dontrust, you scare me! (cries)

Alfred: Thanks, I will take that as a compliment! (smiles)

Smitty: Can I speak to Banks instead? He nice to fragile ole me!

CA: Alfred looks at the screen, puts the phone down, walks off and reappears in the same shot seconds later, dressed as impersonator Banks, he then proceeds to pick up the phone.

Banks: Yes, this is Banks, Smitty, how may I help you and (pauses and tilts head) your depression?

Smitty: Well, you see, Marsha and I were having a grand ole time waiting for my cousin Jimmy Johnson to visit me for the day, when Marsha went missing and now, I can’t find her! (cries and rubs his hair)

Banks: Smitty, by any chance, would she have run away?

Smitty: Run away? That doesn’t sound like something Marsha would do! She doesn’t even have any bones in her wee body! Only stuffing! Oh no! Maybe someone kidnapped her and killed her? I need to call the President or something, don’t I? That is it, isn’t it? She was kidnapped! My worse fear has been realized! (screams)

Banks: Calm Smitty. Chill. Calm your anxiety… and depression…

Smitty: Can’t do that right now Banks! I need to find Marsha! (hangs up)

CA: Impersonator Banks is shown.

Banks: Smitty? You still there? Smitty? (looks at the phone for two seconds and then puts it down) (acts like Dontrust) Well, that was completely unpleasant and rude of him. Eh, he’ll call me. (walks off screen)

CA: Smitty is shown grabbing a hammer, a pot, a jacket, gloves and glasses.

CA: He bursts out of the door.

Smitty: Time to find me some kidnappers! No one stands in my and Marsha’s way or else my name isn’t Receptionist Smitty Johnson the Thirteenth!

CA: He walks away as you see Jimmy knocked out on the ground still behind Smitty.

CA: Smitty walks through the field.

CA: Smitty arrives at a beach next to a lake.

Smitty: Marsha’s kidnappers! Show yourself!

CA: Smitty hears a noise in a bush.

Smitty: (whispers) I saw in a movie once, the best way to capture prey is by being quiet and fast. (pauses and then screams) Here I come Marsha’s kidnappers!

CA: He runs across the beach loudly.

CA: The bush is shown nice and quiet.

CA: Smitty is shown still running.

CA: The bush is shown again.

CA: Smitty is shown running again.

CA: Smitty jumps behind the bush, falling down a small Cliffside.

Smitty: Owww…

CA: Smitty is shown getting up.

Smitty: Smitty, on second thought, not everything or everyone is the enemy.

CA: Smitty is shown walking along the beach again.

Smitty: Okay, what describes evil kidnappers that kidnapped Marsha? I know! Gang members that wear black hoodies and hold knives! That describes evil kidnapping Marsha thieves! But where can I find evil gang members that wear black and thiefed Marsha from me?

CA: Harvy is shown sitting down on a staircase next to the lake, holding a knife.

Harvy: Hey Smitty, what you doing?

CA: Smitty turns around.

Smitty: Oh hey Harvy! I am out to kill these gang members from space that kidnapped Marsha from me with an iron fist!

Harvy: Do you even understand everything you just said?

Smitty: (pauses and looks at Harvy) Nope.

Harvy: (pauses) Just as I thought.

Smitty: Bye Harvy! Got to go find me an astronaut gang member dressed in black that kidnapped Marsha and beat the crap out of them!

CA: Runs down the beach like an airplane as Harvy watches.

Harvy: What an idiot.

CA: A city is shown.

CA: Smitty is shown walking along the streets.

Smitty: Okay, cities are really big and scary! (seems frightened and then spruces up) Which is exactly why Marsha’s kidnappers must be close by!

CA: Smitty is shown looking through the city in multiple locations.

CA: He is shown looking in alleyways.

CA: He is shown looking at a capital.

CA: He is shown walking the street.

CA: He is shown looking in a car.

CA: He is shown looking in a window to a building.

CA: He is shown searching a park.

CA: He is shown walking over a bridge.

CA: He is shown in a baseball field.

CA: He is shown in a playground.

CA: He is shown back in the city, walking the streets.

CA: He is shown sitting down next to this big large rock sculpture.

CA: The screen fades out to black.

CA: The screen fades into perspective showing Smitty walking home.

CA: He enters the house, not acknowledging Jimmy still knocked out on the ground in the background.

CA: He walks through the door and slams it.

CA: A few seconds pass until he starts balling his eyes out.

Smitty: Marsha is gone forever!

CA: Smitty sits down on the couch, pulling out a tissue box from under the sofa, blowing his nose.

CA: Harvy walks in the room and sits down next to Smitty.

Harvy: Smitty, what is wrong?

Smitty: Marsha is gone! She either ran away or got kidnapped by gang members! (continues crying)

Harvy: Smitty…

Smitty: I don’t want to talk Harvy!

Harvy: But Smitty…

Smitty: It is just too painful to bare!

Harvy: Smitty!

Smitty: Whaaaaattt? (continues crying)

Harvy: I found Marsha!

CA: Smitty snaps out of it, smiling and creepily turns towards Harvy.

Smitty: You did?

CA: Harvy pulls out Marsha from nowhere.

Smitty: MARSHA!

CA: He tackles Harvy to the ground, grasping Marsha.

Smitty: You found Marsha!

CA: Harvy sits up, appearing dizzy.

Harvy: Smitty, don’t ever tackle me again! (pauses) Anyways, after I saw you on the beach, I went looking for Marsha and found Doctor V with her. And to make a long story short, I got her back for you!

Smitty: Marsha! (screams)

CA: Smitty turns to Harvy.

Smitty: Wait, why did Doctor V have Marsha?

Harvy: Something about wanting to try out stuffed animal blood or something.

Smitty: What did you do to him for taking Marsha from me? (looks at Marsha) The love of my life!

Harvy: Don’t worry Smitty, he was taken care of!

CA: Doctor V is shown beaten up next to a few trashcans that had fallen over next to him.

Doctor V: Owwhhhgegeugue… must kill impostor…

CA: Smitty and Harvy are shown again.

Harvy: Smitty, I’ve been meaning to ask you, but what ever happened to your cousin coming over for the day?

Smitty: Jimmy?

CA: Jimmy is shown outside on the ground next to the steps.

Jimmy: Owwwhhhgegeugue…

CA: Smitty and Harvy are shown again inside.

Smitty: No idea. (Harvy nods)

CA: Smitty is shown in his office at his desk, as his theme song starts to play, with Marsha next to him. He cuddles her and then grabs Alfred the dog, petting his head, then carefully placing him down on the desk.

CA: Smitty calls up Dr. Dontrust again.

CA: Dr. Dontrust is shown, answering the phone.

Alfred: (spoken fastly) Dr. Truscot and Dontrust firm inquirer of the Health Chronicles – (speaking normally) oh screw it. (annoyed) Dr. Dontrust speaking.

Smitty: Everything worked out for the best Dontrust! Harvy found Marsha for me!

Alfred: (annoyed) That’s great Smitty. (pauses) You done wasting my time?

Smitty: Just about! Marsha and Alfred the dog have to say goodbye first!

CA: He picks up Marsha, putting her mouth next to the mic.

Smitty: (using baby talk) Come on Marsha, you can do it! Say, bye-bye!

CA: He puts her down.

Smitty: And now Alfred the dog has to say goodbye, wait, where is Alfred the dog? (panics) Alfred! Oh no! Alfred!

CA: Hangs up.

CA: Dontrust is shown realizing Smitty hung up on him again.

Alfred: I swear, if he hangs up on me ONE more time, I will have to kill him in his sleep and believe me, I know how to… (starts walking off screen) poor poor Banks… (off screen by now) I really need to get myself a life outside of this show…

CA: Smitty is shown standing up, angry wearing the pot on his head again, gloves, glasses and holding the hammer.

Smitty: Here I come space astronaut gang members! You don’t take MY dog Alfred and get away with it!

CA: He runs outside.

CA: He is shown from far away, running through the field like a maniac as the screen goes to black.

CA: The LeagueProd symbol is shown.

CA: Henry is shown walking into the kitchen, picking up his newspaper.

Henry: Finally, some peace and quiet! And I finally got my appetite back too!

CA: He grabs his bowl of cereal as Doctor V enters the room with an ice pack on his head, sitting down across from Henry.

Doctor V: Sup enemy.

CA: Henry stares at Doctor V.

Henry: Great, lost my appetite again.

CA: He leaves the room as Doctor V watches him leave.

Doctor V: Well, I have learned one thing today. (pauses) Anything stuffed has no blood in it. (looks at the bowl of cereal and then back where Henry went, then back to the bowl)

CA: He starts to eat the bowl of cereal and then stops abruptly.

Doctor V: No blood in this either… (slumps over in his chair)

CA: End of video.

I think it was AWESOME!!!! You did a really good job! I like that you didn't have to many parts with jimmy, because as you know I don't really like dressing up like him...

Which is why I will be like a stunt double only wearing the glasses and red sweatshirt. haha I thought we should incorporate Jimmy a little bit more into the series, so that was how I did it. I am glad you like the script! We will begin filming this on Tuesday and hopefully finish this and the Life of Dr. Henry Truscot parts.

Alright, I see a LOT of filming in my future!

Also, I know this is off topic, but what are you doing for your birthday this year?

I have no idea, we maybe going down to NY to visit the family. But I'm not sure...
