Cloning questions

I want to ask a few questions about cloning and know your opinions. I want proof to support your facts and don't go by other people's opinions. Think for yourself and use your own opinions.

1) Whats your opinion on legalizing and the ban of human cloning in the US?

2) Would it be a good idea to restore endangered species by cloning?

3) You probably didn't know this but it is fact that the FDA allowed the consumption of meat from cloned animals? You've probably already tasted it without knowing because they never labeled it "cloned animal meat". what are your thoughts now that you know?

Proof---> "Extensive evaluation of the available data has not identified any subtle hazards that might indicate food-consumption risks in healthy clones of cattle, swine, or goats," the 968-page "final risk assessment" concluded.

"Thus, edible products from healthy clones that meet existing requirements for meat and milk in commerce pose no increased food consumption risk(s) relative to comparable products from sexually-derived animals."

4) Do you believe people are playing "GOD" by cloning and if so why stop?

Fun fact) Cloning is very hard and isnt that easy like in the movies. The first cloning of a sheep was made by making 227 eggs that only made 29 embryos and only 3 sheeps were made by them....only 1 survived and it survived from 1996-2003. Her name was dolly.

1) I think human cloning should be banned at least for now, until we know more about the effects of cloning (not only physical but mental) and know how to do it more safely. Then the real debates will begin.

2) Yes. We help restore endangered species by other artificial methods so why not cloning?

3) As long as it's safe and the animals are treated humanely I don't care. I'm pretty sure the animals wouldn't care that they were clones, and if they're just going to die anyway it shouldn't have any effect on the species biologically.

4) No, I don't see how cloning would be considered "playing god". I mean, just because someone does something amazing using science doesn't mean he/she has control over the universe. God made all life and therefore also allowed cloning to be possible. By cloning, scientists would simply be doing that which God already made possible.

My Cloning debate was a disaster.... I humiliated myself in front of a crowd of ghetto devils.

I will never do anything related to debating and speaking in front of a crowd of 40 people....
