Wii U: The New Attachment to the Nintendo Wii
Before I explain my thoughts on this new attachment, let me first start by saying this is a trailer to the new Wii attachment named the Wii U. It is the hidden project being worked on by Nintendo, which was nicknamed "Project Cafe" and referred to as "Wii 2".

To me, this is an iPad/3DS attachment for the Wii and I must say, I am not impressed at all. I was looking forward to seeing a new system just to see what it was like. This looks like a new controller and way of playing the Wii and that is about it. It is almost like the Wii Fit board all over again, only this time it is a screen/controller.
I think Nintendo is trying to get the concept idea of a double screen system like the DS, but this time around, for the Wii. I mean, that really is all that this is. Now, if this was able to be portable and not only usable when the Wii was on and within a certain radius, then yes, this would be impressive. But it is only a simple attachment that will most likely cost a fortune for no reason.
Mainly, I was hoping to see a new Nintendo system with upgraded graphics, a more online friendly setting and more hardcore games. This was unimpressive for what I was hoping for. However, for hardcore Nintendo fans, I would say this is something to look into, but if you are like me and own an Xbox 360/PS3, then I would doubt you would be getting this.

Yet again Nintendo resorts to gimmicks to attract customers' attention.
