Edit: Be more creative! I promiss i didnt use wikipedia to find the answer because u already know im a anime fan and i know the series cuz i watched it before but that was like a direct quote from wikipedia when i checked to make sure i was right.

Well, I love both series. I am not sure if they both are my favorite, but the majority of people believe these two series to be up high on popularity and I chose these two since they both come from the same year which was 2001. There is your hint.

Halo is definitely one of them (Halo CE released in 2001 if I remember correctly), IDK about the other.
