Avatar: A Movie Review. (May Contain Spoilers)

Avatar, directed by James Cameron, is currently the most popular fantasy hit in America, and the best-selling movie in the box office. People give this movie standing ovations when it's over, and this movie is true to get your fingers to your mouth, biting them. The special effects in the movie are amazing. Very amazing, the Navi People look human.


Computer animation brings Naytiri to life.

Story Line:

In 2154, American Army soldiers arrive at Pandora, a planet much like earth but literally untouched, left how the nature should be. Scientists learn that the planet is rich with unobtanium, an extremly expensive mineral that is 20M a kilo. They drive out the Na'vi, the people who inhabit the planet. Jacob Sully, a soldier that has broken legs and on a wheelchair, learns his brother has died, and he has to step in. A scientific experiment is that he can transfer his soul into an Avatar, a preserved Na'vi, or something like that. The Colonel promises him the surgery needed to restore his legs if he learns their race. He learns about them, and soon, he learns the army are the actual villains.

James Cameron has stated that if the movie is great, he will make a sequel.

It seems interesting but it does look a little weird as well. Also, this is about a movie so belongs in Vids, Pics and Music so moving to there.

i saw that movie about 2 weeks ago. there was no standing ovation, and it wasn't that great. IMO the movie was retarded. i did like the fighting scene though. lol i love the part with the helicopter.

I watched some of the trailers, and the fighting looks awesome!

I saw the movie and it was pretty good. FYI it isn't "weird" flare, don't be so quick to judge something you've never seen. It was pretty deep and shows humans as we are.

I saw this for my birthday, it was seriously the best movie i have ever seen in my entire life.

I meant weird as in the way they look, not the movie. I am not saying it is a bad movie, I have never seen it or know what it is about, I am simply going off of what I have seen on the trailers. So, my opinion is on what I have seen on trailers and nothing else, I might consider seeing it, I just don't know yet.

Oh, LOL, I get it and by them being blue is what I meant by it looked weird before.

It wouldn't be terrible if the Na'Vi won, watch the movie and you'll see how horrible the American's are portrayed as.
You'll feel sympathy for the Na'Vi
