Halo 4 custom games and also I am not allowed to play Xbox on Sundays (keep the sabbath day holy religion reasons) so if we could do it any other day that would be great although I do have finals not next week but the week after

Whatever day would be alright be me, however we will have to find a date that both C.J. and I are available. Just let me know a day and I will see if we can do it.

There isn't anything wrong with not playing Xbox on a Sunday. I can understand why he said this, though I personally don't have any issue with playing on Sunday's -- though that is just my opinion, however it isn't like I don't try to go to church whenever I can on Sunday either.

Did you know C.J. used to not play video games on Sunday's too?

That is just sad... There is a real reason to go to Church and that isn't it.

Yeah there are, I'm an altar server which makes me even that much worse. People go to church for all sorts of reasons

I said that going for the purpose you mentioned prior to this is not a reason to go. I never said there wasn't other things going on at churches such as choirs and events. However the real purpose for any Christian faith church is for God.

There's nothing wrong with being a "hardcore" Christian as long as he isn't trying to force his beliefs onto others, which he isn't. He's simply saying why he won't be on Xbox on Sundays.

If that's part of his way of honoring God, I will fully support him in doing that.

God and Allah are the same name, just in different languages. God's "true name", given in the Masoretic Text and the Bible, is Yahweh or YHWH (there's no definite way to spell it in English). He is also known as Jehovah.

I have no clue why you say Abraham is the same as God, I have never heard that stated in my experience with Islam, Catholicism, or Protestantism. Did you mean Yahweh, or Jehovah?

But I don't see how Halo or CoD is messing up the holy day (Sunday) good call, I forgot about Yaweh. I did mean yaweh, Abraham was the father oh the religion, not god. Oh well. I didn't do good on the religion chapter in Human Geo anyways

I don't believe it's considered to be "messing things up". It's more like sacrificing a daily activity in order to pay your respects to God and allow yourself to focus more on Him during the Sabbath.

Personally I think it's fine to play video games on Sunday, but everyone has their own traditions/practices.

My mother didn't want me playing video games on Sundays because she believed it to be distracting not only to myself but to the rest of the household. Especially with all the "gun sounds".
