Not sure if people still remember me or not, but I used to be in this clan back when we were still playing Runescape. How has everyone been?

Some of us still play Runescape, it's depressing.

I've been good. Not sure how long I'll stick around, but I've been really into my own RS clan, the Kingdom of Varrock. If any of you guys do need a clan in RS, just ask to join mine. I've been pretty good lately, I got a job a bit ago, so that's interesting.

Hi Maddi, good to hear from you. It has been awhile. I'm still a college student, but over the summer I'm working in IT. What kind of job did you get? I bet your skill levels in RS are now way higher than most of ours.

They're pretty high, yeah :p I'm in my last year of high school now, so I'm working at a local restaurant.

You into Minecraft at all now? That is mostly all any of us really do now actually. That and Cod/Halo on the 360. However myself, C.J. and Nick aren't able to play much anymore. All too busy with work/school/filmmaking/social life. lol

Everyone except me. The only thing I do is work and play Runescape. haha

Well, you do play Reach and MC once in a while, which reminds me... We still haven't played Reach together due to our schedules...

Yeah, every now and then. We do need to own some noobs sometime

I just play Skyrim now. It's like crack-cocaine, but worse.

Honestly, I think Runescape is about to end. Even if people don't quit because of all the terrible updates, I've heard rumors of Jagex going out of business.

From Wikipedia:

"Jagex received an investment from Insight Venture Partners in October 2005, before which the company had been self-funded. In December 2010 The Raine Group and Spectrum Equity Investors invested in Jagex, while Insight increased their investment. Andrew Gower, Paul Gower and Constant Tedder left the board of directors at that time. In January 2012, Insight increased its stake in Jagex from 35% to 55%, giving it a controlling interest in the company. However, in an interview, Gerhard stated that Insight took their 55% stake 13 months prior in December 2010."

That IVP group basically takes over failing companies, sucks money out of them, and then leaves them in bankruptcy. Right now they're making Jagex release all kinds of ways for members to buy things other than monthly membership. It might add some profit for the IVP group, but it's a sign that the end could be near for Jagex and Runescape as we know it.
