Huge Steam Sale This Week

This week there's a HUGE sale on Steam. For those of you who don't know, Steam is basically Xbox Live for the PC. They are offering Skyrim, Fallout: New Vegas, and a couple of other Bethesda games for only $50 (you get all of those games for that price). There are many other amazing deals, such as an Arma II bundle for $24. I'm thinking about buying it (downloading the demo now to see how it runs on my laptop).

I may get Skyrim if it will run on my PC without lag, but I doubt it will. >_<

Why didn't you download the demo first to test it? That's what I'm doing.

I'm sorry to hear it doesn't work. Time to get a new graphics card?

By the way, they have a zombies mod for Arma 2 with tons of weapons, vehicles, weather, etc. Apparently it's the most realistic zombies game out there.

THAT'S THE WHOLE REASON I GOT IT! and I have xp so that's why it won't work so when windows 8 comes out, I will hopefully be able to transfer my games to that and be able to play

Ahh I see. Well hopefully it does, but you may need a new graphics card as well. You can check on Steam (look at the minimum specs).

I believe I have the minimum specs, If I re-download Steam with my same account, would I be able to download the purchased games or do I need to save it as a new file and re-download it from a flashdrive.
