Me and an Xbox 360 named Sam

HEY! Just to let you guys know I am probably gonna be getting an Xbox 360 and Halo Reach at some point this week, probably in two or three days! SO! I'll let you guys know when I get it and you can add me as a friend on Xbox! Right now you are probably asking yourself "why? would I add 5thRibsmite as one of my friends on Xbox?" Because I'm awesome, search your feelings you know it to be true, that I'm awesome..... So yeah as I was saying, hopefully see you guys on Xbox soon

Sorry, I was talking to my parents and they pointed out a lot of reason why I shouldn't get one. Big reason I would waste a lot of time on it, I am not good at managing my time... And so I've pretty much decided not to.

I still feel it would be nice for you to own, but sorry you won't be getting one.

Maybe at some point you will reconsider.

Maybe once I am on my own, and I have more of my priority's in order. I have been thinking about it and right now in my life I don't think it would be a good idea to get one.

Just seems like it makes sense to have one, since people you know will be able to play this summer. I guess you would play it more than anyone else I know though. I only get one for an hour at a time when I have the chance.

It is fine, but I don't think having one now would hurt you or your younger brother any and am greatly sorry it won't work out for you to get one. :/

Sorry to hear that, Cody. =/ Though I wish you could get an Xbox, if your parents feel that strongly about it then perhaps it's for the best (at least during this point in time). At least we can play Minecraft.

@Jon: An Xbox isn't harmful at all to you because you're good at managing your time. If Cody, like many other people, finds it challenging to pull himself away from the Xbox, then it could potentially impede other aspects of his life. As it is, he can at least play when he visits your house and thereby not affect his daily life at home. That said, I believe Cody is getting better at managing his time. Maybe he will be able to get an Xbox sometime in the near future (like when Halo 4 comes out, perhaps). Or he might be able to find a really good price on one after Christmas.

Yeah, which is understandable, but should be able to be worked around too. Hopefully some day he can get one.

Wait Wait Wait, Im 14 and my parents said the same thing (I got an xbox still) I guess it works differently when your older oh well, oh and the thing about getting Minecraft if I get straight A's is still on
