"This area is owned by Ddixav." - Minecraft

I went out of my base, and saw that all the trees were gone, which is fine, but I want to make sure that no one builds in my territory where I place a sign thats says that I own the area (Thread Title).

The island above my base, is where I am planning to build my house/manor/castle, whatever.

I've placed signs on my island where I will build my house on the surface, that anything built there will be taken down.

I've placed warnings that I will build there.

I'm not sure, if they plan to build on my area, or they just want wood. If it's for the wood, then its fine.

Just making sure to whoever took all those trees down...!

Hmmm, I'm not sure who would have been there. Anyway, Jacob is working on adding a new security feature which will enable you to better protect your belongings (if it works, each player will be allowed a few "locks" which can be used on doors or chests). We were testing it earlier and it seems to work so far.

I'm just making it clear that I already claim the land for my manor, so if anyone builds in my reserved territory, I have the right to take it back.

I guess I'm gonna have to claim where my Fortress is going to be. Not my house but my actual Fortress.

Well I don't see what purpose it is to make a big deal about area lots for locations going to be built. Then again it doesn't hurt and tells people ahead. In case it makes a difference, the lot next to my house (not the side where the water is...) I am building a second location to extend.

Near it I suppose. From your dirt entrance, it is going to be sort of directly ahead, but more to the left. It is going to be to the left (from the perspective of entering the village meaning) of my house where I added a bridge.
