A new NEW Minecraft server!

CJ, I made a Minecraft BUKKIT server.

Yep, I managed to make one, and Im installing plugins. The only problem is that Im not sure if people can connect, because I see my IP in my servers list, and it says communication error. IDK. Try connecting (once my server is up. I may not keep it up 24/7)

Im asking Snipern for assistance on it, and I am progressing on getting a rank system, colored names, and I have to set permissions.

My IP for the server is 67.84.66.82

It says it cannot connect. I tried again and it said it couldn't reach server

Yeah, it was down.

I dont think I may go through with this. The strings are messed up and its too complicated to set permissions.

bukkit isnt updated for 1.0.0 yet. i just tred it on my computer and it said that there was an invalid server key. the second time i tried to connect it said that the connection couldnt be established.
you might want to just run notch's vanilla server until bukkit is updated. especially because the mods for bukkit have to be updated also. it is gana be a few weeks at least until any bukkit server is running like it was for 1.8

I've used Notch's server software before, and I grown bored of it.


And that cant be, Bukkit servers are updated. If they arent, then I wouldnt be able to connect to Kjeb's server or dxmap.

and the link where I got the bukkit software stated it was 1.0.

i went through the bukkit main site. is there a forum with it released or something??

Anyway, CJ, I am making a map that I wish to be for the server you may set up.

I can set up the spawn and other stuff.

Part of my agreement with the college is that the map will be partially customized to their specifications. Sorry, but until the server is actually set up, we can't start on the map. >_<

If it is even set up that is...

I'd say I would send you the map, but I dont want to put more work in your hands.
