Modern Warfare 3 - Review

After playing the game for a few hours, I sum it up to be a combination style of CoD 4: MW and MW2. It has proven to be a very well designed game with terrific maps with very nice designs. However, the spawning was an issue (yes, it was in all previous CoD games as well) but seemed to be very noticeable. Survival Mode was a lot of fun, but rather on the easy side compared to Zombies. However, it is designed for only two people, which could be why it seemed to be somewhat easy. The main menu is set up identically to MW2, only with new texture and music. The gameplay seemed to be quite enjoyable and not too stressful, yet still keeping the same touch as previous games without any real issues. And customs games (private matches) allow multiple gametypes, including a returned Gun Game from Black Ops.

Overall, I believe this game has turned out very well, but isn't perfect. They did remove jumping into prone, Commando and other notable perks, while gaining many new perks and some old ones as well, with even some renamed. For example, Marathon was renamed.

I will be giving this game 4 out of 5 stars, as it is a very well designed game with some minor tweaks to be adjusted such as spawning. I believe it is safe to say this is the biggest retail sale for any system of all time, but not the best game out there. However, it is most likely the game of the year as its only real competitors are Portal 2, Battlefield 3, Gears of War 3, Halo Anniversary and LA Noire, however not in that order. CoD fans will be proud of this game and I definitely recommend all FPS fans to buy this game, even if they are not CoD fans at all.

I've only played it for maybe 2 hours, but I must say I really enjoy MW3! I love Survival, I just wish that it supported more than 2 players.

Also, you can play online matchmaking with guests like in Black Ops!

Well we can't do Saturday night C.J, forgotten already that I'll be with you like 10-7 Saturday? haha Sunday should work for me. I hopefully can get on tonight as well! But tomorrow night I'm watching Harry Potter 7 Part 2... lol

Doesn't mean we can't play MW3 on Saturday. But Sunday is probably better anyway. I can't play tonight or tomorrow night because I have a TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON of homework!!! I'm trying to finish it all before Saturday. And that is looking more and more unlikely...

Well remember you have until 10 to do it Saturday as the rest of the day, we are gonna be busy! XD
