CJ HELP ME

Im trying to install a wireless adapter to my vista computer, but I am having difficulties. I now have the vista computer in the basement, so I need to install this adapter to be able to connect to the internet.

This is the adapter I'm trying to install: http://support.netgear.com/app/products/model/a_id/2557

I run the CD, and everything goes smoothly, though when I install the software, it says it will continue on to the hardware installation, though it does not pop up. It just sits there.

CJ, do you have any solution to this problem?

Okay, but I will talk through my iPod that time, since my vista computer is currently connected in my Studio room. (No, it wasnt a basement lol)

Sorry I can't help right now, I have a bad internet connection (one bar if any) on my laptop and my dad wants to use this PC right now. We'll probably lose power during the storm but I'll try to help you ASAP David.

I guess my dad should buy the Dynex wireless adapter, we had one in the past.

Well when I have a better internet connection I could try doing it through TeamViewer.

And you cant use teamviewer if it doesnt have internet connection.

Also considering it is most likely the program since it wouldn't work on either PC and he did everything correctly through screen share on his new PC.

Oh, you are using your old PC to post on the forums. I was thinking you were currently connected via an ethernet cable and was trying to set up wireless.
