but no really bacterias on everything right and if it grows it become animals right and then from there people right?
there is another theory i'd be willing to accept
god made us as apes and we evolved from there i'd accept that still wouldn't worship but would accept

Re: God, are you out there?
Alright, but where are the missing links? Surely there are half-ape, half-men creatures out there somewhere if we evolved from apes. Also, if it's "survival of the fittest", why didn't apes die off seeing as humans are the most evolved and "fittest"?
You say we believe in an "invisible space god", but you believe in a "scientific process" that has never been recorded or seen to happen. That means we both believe in something "invisible".
I don't mean to be disrespectful or rude, I just like to debate

That's my point exactly. It has never happened, nor will it ever.

Yeah, what makes it so much more believable that a one-celled organism evolved from sludge and then began to evolve into multi-cellular organisms, all the while becoming more complex and developing more systems, such as recreation, breathing, and thinking? Isn't it a little less complex and believable that something divine created it all the way it is today? Sure, there is "evolution" like people getting taller or birds growing larger beaks, but there has never been any documented evolution where a species became a new species. I can understand someone being skeptical in "blind belief" in God, but when that person believes in something "blind" as well, it doesn't make any sense to me...
P.S. I'm definitely not a hater Arch, I just like to talk....hahaha

Re: God, are you out there?
When the Bible says we were made from dust I believe it meant we were created from nothing. The Bible uses metaphors sometimes and there are also translation errors. We aren't golems.
And also Arch I am not hating (I'm not sure who you were referring to but I don't believe Jacob was either). As far as I am concerned I am just having a friendly discussion about our beliefs and am hoping to clear up some confusion about Christianity.

Well considering God is all-powerful I don't see why He couldn't create us from nothing.
In fact that is what the big bang theory claims also. There was nothing and then BOOM life exists randomly!
Hmm, maybe God made the big bang happen...?

Well this is hard to explain through the internet or even in one conversation, but here goes...
God gave us free will and free thought, which is why we aren't like animals. One disadvantage to free will is that it allows us to commit sins (evil). God is pure goodness and love, so he doesn't want to be around sin. Therefore God sent Jesus, his son, to die for your sins. He's giving you a choice to be purged of your sins and go to heaven or reject Jesus and go to heck. It's your choice. If He didn't give us a choice, then we wouldn't have free will. Our world isn't perfect because sin exists in it, and if God were to just forcibly eliminate all of the sin it would also eliminate our free will.
At least, that is my understanding of it.

Re: God, are you out there?
That sounds about right, Cj.
Arch, God created us perfect without sin, but then in Genesis, with the fall of man, sin came into the picture. That pretty much ruined the whole world :/

He has made that possible through Jesus, but because we have free will we can choose to accept it or reject it.
It's our choice to give up a life of sin and live eternally after we die or to reject God and wind up in heck due to our sinful nature.

Re: God, are you out there?
In other words no one is perfect except for God himself. We all have a choice and not everyone makes the right ones. A few sins doesn't mean going to you know where either. It depends on how you choose to live your life, so in other words, just try to think positive and do the right thing, but no one can do the right thing always. If anyone has caused a sin and is truly sorry then we go from there step by step.

Re: God, are you out there?
Well I am! I converted a while ago! I have been through a lot of religions. I think the order is something like:
1: Ages 1-7 Christian (I was young, but I still thought the whole god thing was bullcrap so I quit)
2: Ages 8-10 Atheist
3: Ages 11-13 Satanist
4: Ages 13 1/2- 14 Wiccan
5: Agnostic
6: Now back to Satanism!

So basically your beliefs are as they were when you were 7, except that you now worship Lucifer instead of God?

Re: God, are you out there?
No. I never went to church and never really worshipped anything, I just called myself Christian because that's what my family said we were. Then when I finally figured out what I was supposed to believe in and I put some thought into it, I realized how retarded my family was (sorry, if you're offended :\ ). And yes, now I worship Satan, because I have reason too. I have experienced Satanic ceremonies and have seen ritual demons. I have burn marks on my arms too from the first demon me and 3 other people tried to summon.

Re: God, are you out there?
Why worship the beast?
Satan doesn't care about us humans. He'd love to obliterate humans.
The only reason why Satan hasn't attacked the Human Race yet is because Chuck Norris still breathes.
By the way, I am not judging you by who you worship. Just wanted to say that because I felt like punching certain people at school today in the gut so bad.

Re: God, are you out there?
Oh, but he has. Disease. War. Crime. Murder. Death. Poverty. Discrimination. Racism. Starvation.
Satan is all around us. The only true way to keep The Dark One from destroying you is to help him. Every month we hold a ceremony and release another Demon into the human world. Satan's army is growing, but it is not yet ready. The human race looks down on Satanism, but that is because most were raised learning what their parents think are good or bad. Since the majority of the world is Christian, and Satanism is the opposite of it, of course it will be deemed as "evil".
I think Christianity gives false hope. All the real Christians died off when Jesus did. I mean think about it, these days to be a "true" Christian you must go to church, pray, confess your sins. There are too many different ways of worship though, there is no way to know the true, original way of worshipping Jesus Christ.
I mean, do you even know how many types of churches, and Christianity there are?
Types of Christianity:
Churches without sacramental Ordination
** Protestant
*** Lutheran (Minor Exception)
Presbyterian
Methodist
Anabaptist
*** Baptists
Pentecostals
Brethren
Amish
Non-Trinitarians
*** Universalists
Unitarians
Quakers
Restorationists
** Church of Jesus christ of Latter Day Saints (The Mormons)
Jehovahs Witnesses
Charismatics
Christadelphians
Episcopalian
** Anglicans, Episcopal churches, etc
Catholic
** "Roman" Catholic (Western Rite Catholicism)
*** Sedevacantists
Those who follow Anti-popes
Old Catholics
Catholics who Follow the Pope
Eastern Orthodox (under the Patriarch of constantinople)
*** Greek Orthodox
Russian Orthodox
Serbian Orthodox
et cetera
Coptic (Under pope
Gnostic or Esoteric Christianity
The differences between these groups are vast, and the list of denominations that i have provided is by no means complete. There were at one time believed to be near 100,000 different denominations of Christianity, each of which fell mostly into one of these groups.
Now you tell me, which one of these groups are the TRUE Christians? Who tells the REAL truth of Jesus Christ? Which one knows how to TRULY worship their God?

Our religion/denomination is not what saves us. There is no "true" denomination. If you want to know exactly how many denominations there are, find out the population of the world and there you have it. Everyone is individual and therefore has a different way of following God. Denominations are groups of people whose ways of following God are similar to each other.
God/Jesus saves us. Your religion is not as important as accepting God into your mind and soul. That is what Jesus taught and that is why there are so many denominations of Christianity.
