I have a friend who attempted to commit suicide by jumping out of a window. Luckily she was stopped and has now regained the will to live.

Yes, she started going to my church with me and found happiness through Jesus. This was back in New Hampshire so I haven't seen her since I moved last year. As far as I know she is doing good though.

Yes, there are some churches that are great communities to get involved in.

Of course a relationship with Jesus is more important than any church or religion.

my main reason for not going to churches is cause its basically do same as me or burn in heck

Not all churches are like that. I would suggest looking for other churches (try a Protestant church, like the Church of the Nazarene). Every church is different in its opinions and beliefs, but it is not other humans' opinions that save you from heck. All you have to do is accept Jesus into your heart and strive for a relationship with Him. Churches were created to help you with that and for fellowship with other believers. Unfortunately it seems that many churches have forgotten their purpose...

Yeah, personally I like small churches where everyone knows each other.

yeah, our church has around 400-500 members.

That's cool, my church has around a couple hundred members I think.

my church has around three hundred members

At one time in New Hampshire I went to a church with only 40-50 members. We all knew each other very well and everyone was like family to each other. We are still in regular contact with most of them even after living in Florida for a year.

Yeah, I think our church's size is perfect, at least for me.

As I have said in the past, I don't mind threads going off-topic as much as I hate spam. USUALLY when threads go off-topic they disintegrate into spam but in this case it is actually a real conversation.
