What exactly was the point of this? Just wondering.

There are a few reasons. One being that other people may not know about some of these great programs and I would like to spread the word. Also, I now have an easily accessible record of the free programs that I find very useful and can install on other computers.

No I didn't. I added it before you even said that. I'm still adding even more programs.

UPDATE: I'm done for now but will probably add more in the future. I have tons of more software on my computer but I don't have time to add it all and some of it wouldn't be useful to most people.

I use both OpenOffice and Skype. I also use Screenium for recording videos, iMovie '09 for video editing, and Seashore for photo editing. I don't need an antivirus because I have a Mac
