Apparently, Microsoft banned a 26 year old guy for saying he lives in Fort Gay, Virginia.

And suddenly, Microsoft found out Fort Gay was actually a real town. Microsoft now owes an apology to the ENTIRE TOWN of Fort Gay and A thousand pardons to the Xbox Gamer. I bet Sony knew Fort Gay was a real town before this happened.

I'm glad the guy got unbanned but I don't think it was entirely Microsoft's fault. Since there ARE a lot of racist and bigoted people on Xbox Live, customer support can't check every single offense to see if it is valid. However, when the guy called customer support to explain the issue they should have listened to him and passed it on to the correct employee to deal with it immediately. If this was happening all the time it would be a bad problem, but a few mistakes are unavoidable when it comes to such a vast community.
