I am now the proud owner of...

a terabyte hard drive!

For those who don't know, a terabyte (TB) is equivalent to approximately 1000 gigabytes (GB), which are in turn approximately 1000 megabytes (MB).

So my new hard drive can hold approximately one million megabytes.

Oh yeah, and Jon got one too. This way we will have plenty of storage space for our continuously increasing databases of high definition video. AKA more room for more movies.

Ya, got mine like 1 month ago.

But you still haven't used it. I connected mine 5 minutes after UPS delivered it and now have a few gigabytes worth of data already downloaded to it.

I started to use it last week for your information!

I did say I wasn't using it on my laptop until after THM.

So did you change your mind or are you using it on your parent's computer?

I used it on my computer and haven't used it on my laptop yet which is what I use all the time. I am waiting until after THM for the transfer on my laptop. My mom has her own laptop and PC. However after transferring files on my computer to the external hard drive and went to upgrade from XP to Windows 7, it wouldn't load W7. so I rebooted the PC and it won't go past boot up now so I think it might have crashed which is what happened to my other laptop last summer. Remember that CJ? LOL Anyways, at least I transferred all the files if worse comes to worse.

It's funny that only you two are replying on this topic and everyone else don't give two craps Lol.
