So yeah, My new xbox is having quite problems lately after buying it like a few days ago.
I am having problems with syncing controllers to it.

When I turn it on, I am able to shut off my controller and sync it too, but after like 30 mins, It won't sync with controllers.
Not only that, If I have a turned on controller already connected to the xbox, it wont let me shut it off. If I take out the battery pack and put it back in, I can't connect it back.

Same thing for my wireless headset. I was once talking with C.J., and all of a sudden, I couldn't hear C.J. talk at all, but he is able to hear me.

I am probably going to keep this console for a few months or so, and then schedule a repair when I can't take enough of it.
In the meantime, I am gonna see if I can find a repair for this on the internet. I've seen videos on youtube, happening to the Pro version of the Xbox.

The only cure for ALL these problems is to: Shut off my console and turn it back on. Until 30 mins. Razz

Oh yes! And if the problems above are happening, it takes two clicks to shut off my console.

1 click on the power button: Screen blackens as normal, but the green lights on the console stay on and the xbox is still "working"
2 clicks on the power button: It shuts off as normal.

First I escape from having to hit my xbox to make discs read, and now this. -.-

Lovely.

Well, I doubt this will be a casual problem with all the new systems like the red ring.

I'm sure they will repair it for free, so no worries. I would send it in sooner rather than later, maybe in a few weeks. You won't have to deal with these glitches over the next couple of months if you get it fixed now. You probably should wait at least a week or two though, because I'm sure Microsoft is getting a lot of repairs due to the updated console just coming out, and they might take longer if you send it in this week.

Also, you might just have to send in your headset or controller? I'm not sure if that would be the problem, but I think accessories have a separate warranty...

The thing is I wanna have fun with the xbox and my warranty doesnt expire until June 2011.

So I have time!

Also, I have sent an xbox to Microsoft before. All you have to send in is the console itself.

I think Cj might be right, it might be the controller. Which one you using?

No, its the xbox.

After some time, it doesn't sync with any controller for player 1. I think for the other player slots, it works fine.

You guys do realize, the first couple rounds of xbox's produced were very faulty... After complaints were sent it, they fixed them.

You're basically just being a money grab, and beta testers for microsoft.

Assuming; they're doing the same thing with the Xbox 360 S.

If I were in charge of microsoft... I'd call it the Xbox 350 Super Gay.
Which is most likely what the S is for...

Which is why they gave a 1 year warranty for along with it for purchase.

But I didn't realize I was being a guinea pig, that I'll admit.

But the thing is, I fell in love with that beautiful console, that I just had to have it. Just like my PS3 Slim and Fallout 3.
