he means his post. Yes you are right. Plus if i do get a new console will my xbox live membership still be active and use it on the new console? I'm probably going to send it in for repairs.

Wait, are you sure LIVE Gold will become free this summer? I haven't heard anything about that... I think they may have meant Silver is free and always will be.
