Terminate Series

Ok, this is one of LeagueProductions hardest film series so far aside from the Lightsaber Duel series we make and I would appreciate finding out what everyone thinks of it only because it is something we have worked on for a while now (first episode filmed last November) The finale episode comes out this summer but if you guys would like to comment and tell us what you think of it so far here then please do or to give ideas or suggestions for the finale.

All due respect, I find the acting sorta cheesy. The one guy who I guess is the main character tries way to hard to be serious, and the fight scenes need work. I'm not an expert but thats my opinion. I like your guys' creativity though, keep up the good work.

Also, if you saw episode 3 or you will see the fights were worked on a lot more. IDK which episodes you saw though. (Episode 1 and 2 were more like trial episodes to see if we liked the plot while episode 3 and 4 were worked on more)

practice fight scene over and over and make sure person watching is honest about if it looks realistic

We did actually get the lines out as they were written. As for character development, the main character Nathan stays the same way until episode 5 and same with the rest of the cast. As for the fights I agree, we worked a ton harder on episode 3 and 4 though but they need work. In the finale episode we are going to try and do everything perfectly and we are re-filming some extra scenes to add to the series and put the series together as one at some point after it is over to make it make more sense and make it more plausible.

Episode 4 is the best in my opinion, although 3 was pretty good too.

I think the fight scenes are the main thing that need to be worked on. The style just doesn't seem quite right (it looks more like lightsaber fighting with sticks than a martial arts type of thing). I think we have spent too much time making Star Wars videos.

The cinematography is great though.

I think the style will be improved in episode 5. Also to point out, the main character is simply angry his friend is dead and sort of lost it and all other sense other than revenge so that is why he is over serious.

I'd say work on the fight scenes a bit more to make them more... better?

I understand for the first two episodes and we are going to work harder for episode 5 but I don't see exactly how episode 3 and 4 are awful too? They aren't perfect and do need work I admit though. (it is also due to editing, not so much camera angles)

Yah, I think that a major problem is that we have been using Lightsabers for too long and it is hard to make a decent fighting scene without sabers and guns (Or atleast for me that is)

Well the style wasn't fully like sabers. I mean, it wasn't like the actors weren't touching the middle or something like a saber as the saber would cut your hand off.

The swings and blocks look somewhat like saber fighting though. In fact, I even noticed a couple of "saber locks".

Ya, I never said you are wrong, just that the style is different a little and swords have locks too.

yes, but I have three friends who take fencing (and funny enough two of them take karate too) but I have tried to sword fight against them and they don't stop to take breaths, they just continue to cut, jab, perry (sp?) and everything. But in real double-handed sword fighting, there are not a lot of locks, mostly because the swords are generally so heavy that you do not want to hold them upo for long periods of time.

They had them in Lord of the Rings. Doesn't matter. Also, those are curtain hangers with sharp edges and a stick that was broken in two, not swords. LOL
