I dunno though, I just nerdgasmed at the fact that he finds Altair's body and meets Desmond. Don't know why. But Ezio seemed pretty darn calm despite meeting one of his descendants. I'm unsure what happened, but I know nothing bad happened. Maybe they spoke.

If anything, Desmond would be flippin' his shoot.

In ACII, Ezio meets Minerva in the vault, and Minerva was aware that Desmond would be in the Animus 400 years later to relive Ezio's life, so she used Ezio as a messenger and left him information.
