I am confused too...

"Classical" music is different than "classic" music.

Classical is a genre. Classics are usually older songs that have retained their fame/popularity over the years.

I am referring to classic as in will be remembered (meaning it could have come out today and is already considered classic), if you mean actual classical music as in like 60 years ago or later, that's another story.
